French rules, applied automatically
Marketing SMS are regulated in France. Pssit applies these rules to every campaign, so there’s nothing for you to set up.
Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM
Paris time, never on Sundays or public holidays. A campaign scheduled outside these hours goes out at the start of the next sending window.
Consent first
By default, Pssit only texts customers subscribed to SMS marketing in Shopify. If you include other customers, Pssit reminds you of your obligations, and unsubscribed customers are never contacted again.
An unsubscribe notice in every SMS
The STOP notice is added automatically: customers reply STOP for free. Customers who unsubscribe won’t get any more of your campaigns.
Your store name, not a phone number
Your SMS show up under the sender name you choose (11 characters max), so customers know right away who’s texting them.
You pay for the SMS you send, nothing more
Each campaign is billed for the exact number of SMS sent. You see the price before every send.

One SMS holds 160 characters. A longer message, or one with certain special characters, counts as several SMS, and Pssit shows the exact number before sending. You can change plans whenever you want. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a subscription?
No. On Pay as you go, each SMS costs €0.15 and you only pay for the campaigns you send. Monthly plans lower the price per SMS if you send a lot.
Can my customers reply to the SMS?
No. An SMS sent under a store name can’t receive replies. Only a STOP reply to the short code at the end of the message is handled, and it unsubscribes the customer.
Can I test before sending to everyone?
Yes. Send the message to your own number to check it on your phone, or run a simulated send: nothing goes out and nothing is billed.
How are clicks counted?
Each recipient gets their own short link. You see who clicked and when. Automatic visits from link previews aren’t counted.
Do I need to import my customer list?
No. Pssit reads your customers from Shopify when you prepare a campaign, so your filters always use up-to-date data.
